A Hinoki bath for your home

Many customers have purchased our wooden bathtubs and wooden open-air bathtubs for
installation in residences, hotels, and the guest rooms of ryokans.
Our bathtubs come in a variety of sizes and shapes and can be customized upon request.
The wooden bath, with its fragrance and ability to warm the body and the soul, has long been loved by the Japanese people.

Residential Wooden Bathtub

Relaxation in a wooden bath at the end of a long, hard day is truly a moment of bliss. You can enjoy the feeling of entering a hot spring every day in your own home.

We also accept orders for wooden bathtubs for country homes.

Please note that we accept requests for Hinoki bathtubs
for a variety of facilities.

Hotel/Ryokan Guest Room Baths/ Private Baths

We recommend either the wooden bath or the Hinoki bath for the open-air bath of a hotel and ryokan, as well as for the en-suite bathroom of a Ryokan.
The wooden bath, which creates a high-quality space, also increases customer satisfaction.
At Shimizu Mokuzai, we offer an end-to-end wooden bathtub construction service, from design to installation.

Many welfare facilities such as a nursing home and a day service center have introduced wooden baths.
We can also add the following options, among others, upon request: handrails, steps, seats inside the bathtub.

    contractor is unavailable or unable to handle installation of the bathtub, we would
    be happy to handle the installation in their place.

Please note that we also accept orders of
wooden baths made of American Hiba.

Customers who would like a wooden bath made of more valuable materials than domestic wood: Please note that we recommend American Hiba as its durability indifferent to domestic wood, and it can be used at not too high a cost.
The main characteristic of the American Hiba is that it does not easily rot or form mold. It has a strong water resistance and is known to have a higher resistance to decay than the local Hinoki.
